Dear Diary,
I guess I'm still writing in the diary that my teachers told me to write in. My brother is sixteen and my sister is finally ten. They are both doing well in school, always staying up at the top of the class without getting into as much trouble as I did when I was their age. All I wish for them is to graduate and also go to a college in getting them to be successful people of society. I just hope they don't turn into anybody like me, stealing classmates for money and receiving terrible grades. My father, who has been working constantly at the factory, also notices my statements in this. He still believes that I can go on to a college and obtain a job that gives a lot of money, but I doubt it. Unlike my siblings who have many choices that they can decide from, I am left with only one; I need to help earn the money needed for the development of this family.
I don't know what's really going on in this damned world, but as I have thought, wars between countries have started. In September, Germany and also Soviet Union had invaded Poland. I don't know what the country is thinking about, but it is at the point of isolationism right now. I just hope that it will stay this way throughout the war, since I need to help earn money to create successful paths for my siblings' futures. I guess I have to hope for the best in situations like this.
There are just some things that I don't understand. In my school, a small group of retards just want to go on the battlefront to fight against Germany. I know I have been noticed in school to be bullying many people from all different ages, but I just don't understand the point of killing and fighting. All that people are left with is blood and bodies that they have loved. I just don't think going to war would be the best solution for countries. Especially for countries like Japan, where they have been fighting countless times and destroying island nations all over East Asia. They should just think of a resolution and form a treaty to end their arguments against each other. Without peace and love between nations, the world is going to fall into an enormous pit with no way to escape.
